An executive search process conducted by The Chason Group typically takes 90 to 120-days from start to finish.
The Chason Group Guarantee and Commitment
The Chason Group provides a one-year guarantee for executive searches. If an executive resigns on his or her own accord within the first year of employment or the Board of Directors decide the individual is not a good fit, the search fee is waived for a second executive search. The only cost incurred by the client is for expenses.

- The Chason Group conducts an initial assessment to create a detailed position description and profile. This is achieved by interviewing key stakeholders in the organization, such as Search Committee members, management, community leaders, and organization members.
- A detailed compensation package will be recommended by The Chason Group, based on the scope of the position and current trends in the market.
- Serving as the Search Committee’s confidential point of contact, The Chason Group initiates the search process and identifies candidates based on the pre-determined criteria agreed upon in the position profile. Various sources, including a network of contacts established over years by The Chason Group, are utilized to identify prospects. All contact with candidates is made through The Chason Group.
- Leading candidates are asked to complete a comprehensive application and submit to financial and criminal background checks.
- The top three to five candidates are presented to the Search Committee, along with an in-depth series of questions to ask in the interview process.
- The Search Committee and The Chason Group evaluate the candidates after each interview.
- The Chason Group will present a client approved offer to the final candidate and negotiate the compensation package. *
- When the hire is made and announced, The Chason Group will assist with any media relations. *
- The Chason Group works with the client to establish and monitor a 30-60-90-day evaluation plan for the new executive. *
